The School is noted for the quality of its work in Art and Music which is well up to British independent school standards. The School offers classes in most instruments upon special request and by special arrangement. Over the years, these have included: Piano, Guitar, Flute, Violin, Clarinet.
As pupils progress in the instrument of their choice, they sit for the Royal Schools of Music (Associated Board) exams.
Art is taken seriously right through the School whilst in the Senior School, classes in Arts and Crafts are taken by all 7th, 8th and 9th graders. Courses are given through to G.C.S.E. and ‘A’ level in Drawing and Painting, Graphic Design, Crafts, Screen Painting, Textile Design, Contextual Studies. Those who wish are prepared for entrance to British, as well as American, Art Schools.
